Bowman Farm Systems, Inc. has spent years developing a truly simple user-interface in our recently released CATTLEPROTM 2003 We have learned that if a software package isn't simple yet flexible and complete, a rancher simply will not use it! With that in mind, we are proud to present three distinct versions of CATTLEPROTM 2003; PRIME, CHOICE, and SELECT. CATTLEPROTM 2003 Prime is intended for the registered cattle rancher, Choice is intended for the large commercial cattle producer, and Select is intended for the smaller commercial cattle producer.

The PRIME package offers a complete Pedigree, EPD tracking and updating from Breed Associations, input directly from Breed Associations (for initial data-entry), pedigree estimate EPD's, and coming soon will be "what if" analysis for EPD's to assist in breeding decisions. Breeding records are unlimited, so A.I. records will be easy to track and the complete customer files will allow the breeder to stay in contact with buyers easily. Multi-Record updating means the breeder is able to enter data, such as health record additions, pasture location changes or pasture exposure data (to name just a few!!) one time and the select group of animal records will be updated automatically. With CattleProTM 2003, the breeder spends time USING the records, not entering them!!

CHOICE PLUS

For commercial cattle, CHOICE offers the producer the same luxury as the edition for registered cattle minus EPD's and Pedigrees. All other functions of this edition of CattleProTM 2003, are identical. The commercial producer has identical needs in terms of production as a registered breeder, but shouldn't have to use screens with unnecessary or unneeded data.

SELECT

The SELECT package offers the commercial cattle producer of smaller herds the luxury of owning the best record keeping software available, at a greatly reduced price. All commercial animal fields are still available, as well as the lifetime, unlimited health and breeding records. The number of animals is also unlimited.
